The Faculty of Health Sciences, Busitema University held Pre-Entry examinations for diploma entrants on the Saturday 27th May, 2023 at Mbale Campus. Below are the results for the 2023/ 2024 Specia-Entry examinations.

The Vice-Chancellor Prof. Paul Waako is on a three-day working visit to the Open University, United Kingdom. he has held a number of discussions with the team behind the Open Extended Reality program (Open XR) and discussions centered on how Busitema University can build capacity and embrace extended reality for training.

Dr. Gilbert Gilibrays Ocen - Director ICT represented the Vice  Chancellor Prof. Paul Waako at the signing of an MoU between the ministry of ICT & NG and Polk Properties aimed at accelerating digital transformation through improved ICT infrastructure. Busitema University will benefit by having a high speed data center established at Busitema University among other digital online infrastructure.The function attracted  partners from Zimbabwe, Kenya , USA and Germany. Since 2007, more than 100 SAGE days have been organized around the world. Women in SAGE days have been organized in United State, South Korea, France, Canada, Greece, Senegal and Nigeria. The 3rd edition in Africa organized by Busitema University, Makerere University and Mbarara University of Science and Technology will take place on 4th-8th September 2023 at Makerere University, Department of Mathematics. Students at the Faculty of Science and Education have this morning participated in tree planting around their campus , this re-afforestation exercise has attracted student leaders. The Faculty Dean Associate Professor David Kani Olema has also participated.
