Using Eduroam at Busitema University Campuses and Beyond

What is eduroam?

Eduroam (education roaming) is a secure, worldwide roaming access service developed for the international research and education community. Eduroam service is provided by the Research and Education Network of Uganda (RENU) to Busitema University and other institutions in Uganda. It allows students, researchers, and staff from participating institutions to obtain Internet connectivity across campus and when visiting other participating institutions by simply opening their laptops. Eduroam registration will enable all Busitema University Library users to access all electronic library resources and other digital university services.

How to register for the Eduroam Account?

To use eduroam Wi-Fi, Staff and students will need to set up their laptops or smartphones with support from the University's ICT Staff. Staff and students of Busitema University will only be able to use eduroam if they register their device, laptop, tablet, or Phone, and the device's electronic identity is captured.
