Instructions

Method 1: The simplest and securest way to connect to eduroam is by using the geteduroam App. Here you are required to go to play store and download the geteduroam App

After installing the App. Choose your institution for this case which is Busitema University, put the username: abcd123 @ busitema.ac.ug and your password: your password then boom connected.

Method 2: From the home screen go to the Apps menu (Fig.1)

Find and tap on Settings (Fig.2) – you may have to swipe several screens to the right to find it

In the Wireless & Networks section (Fig.3) select Wi-Fi

The Wi-Fi screen will open and display a list of available networks (Fig.4) Select eduroam

You will be prompted to sign in to the wireless network. Enter the following details in the settings menu (Fig.5):
EAP method: PEAP
Phase 2 Authentication: MSCHAPV2
CA Certificate: Do not validate 
Identity: Your Busitema mail in the format zxc12@busitema.ac.ug
Anonymous Identity: Leave this blank 
Password: Your remote access password

You should now be connected to the eduroam network (Fig.6)

Press the Home key underneath the screen to exit Settings and return the main screen

For IOS users

Select eduroam from the list of available wireless networks

Enter your Busitema mail in the format zxc12@busitema.ac.ug and use your remote access password

If asked to trust the zxc12@busitema.ac.ug certificate (Entrust), select "Accept" or "Trust"

Select Connect
