BRS2102 New Testament Teaching

The student will be introduced to the study of the New Testament. They shall show how the New Testament writings came into being and be able to place all the New Testament into their general historical and cultural context.

Course Objectives
By the end of the study, the students should be able to:

• Interpret the teachings of the New Testament in relation to the Christian life
• Analyze the environment in which the authorship of New Testament was done
• Relate the teachings of the New Testament with the Old Testament
• Demonstrate the religious virtues according to the teachings of the New Testament

Learning Outcomes

• By the detailed study of certain texts, they shall be enabled to interpret any given New Testament with the help of dictionary, concordance and other tools
