Course Unit Description
The course is designed to make a student aware of the individual differences that human beings have. Some of the individual difference exhibit extra ordinary abilities, while some human beings have defects. Therefore, there should be adoptions related to learning, adjustment, development, nourishment and education throughout life.
Course objectives
At the end of the course, a student shall be able to
- Describe the various categories of children who need exceptional adaptation.
- Develop special equipment that be used in the teaching of children with disabilities.
- Assess the performance of disabled students.
- Describe the correctional measures that can be done to disabled students.
- Explain the educational implications of exceptionality.
Expected outcomes
- To have a teacher who can identify and effectively help exceptional children in school.
