CSK1101 Communication Skills

The course aims at providing students with a strong foundation for the development of practical communication skills in English, with special attention on writing skills so that they can gain the necessary skills and confidence to use the language in their daily undertakings. The course offers an opportunity to students to be acquainted with the principles of written academic discourse. It enables them to practice, explore and experiment with the conventions governing academic texts in terms of structure and presentation.

Course objectives
This course is designed to

• Provide students with the skills to write official correspondence
