Understanding the various weather and climate variables, including: solar radiation, temperature, wind, cloud cover, humidity and precipitation is therefore important. Climate is an important natural resource. It influences the nature and spatial distribution of other environmental factors, including vegetation and soils, as well as human and development activities globally.
Course Objectives
By the end of the course, students will be able to:
- Distinguish weather from climate
- Describe the different weather and climate elements.
