Course Unit Description
It course provides instruction on principles of management and leadership that have general applicability to all types of businesses focus is on basic management philosophy and decision making; functions of management, management theories, leadership approaches and team building.
Course Objectives
The course aims are:
- providing the students with key management concepts and principles for managing agribusiness enterprises.
- Students to be able to appreciate roles of leaders and leadership types in agricultural development.
Learning outcomes
At the end of this course the student should be able to:
- Explain theories of management.
- Apply the various management roles and skills relevant to agribusiness enterprises
- Analyze the management processes in organization.
- Explain the relevant emerging management relevant in agribusiness actives
