AGB 3102 Business Law

The course exposes the learners to the basic laws and principles related to contracts, agency, partnerships and company in an organization. It will teach them the methodology of how to apply law in business situations.
 

Course objective

To equip students with the skills and knowledge on laws governing business and commerce in Uganda.    

Learning outcomes
At the end of this course the student should be able to:

• Apply the knowledge of principles of law regarding basic contracts, agency and partnerships and company to business organizations.
• Interpret business contracts
• Explain terminologies used in business law.
• Manipulate and write simple contracts and agreements
• Analyze business contracts and laws/ regulations as used in organizations.
