Classification of internal combustion engines, construction details, systems of marine diesel engines,super-charging, marine fuels and fuel injection systems, combustion and diesel knocking, engine preparation and starting engine performance, and heat balance analysis and calculation. Operation and troubleshooting. Hands-on laboratory work is an integral part of this course.
