Course Unit Description
This course addresses the comprehension and application of Computer Forensic. Students will evaluate and synthesize technical and legal issues in relation to digital evidence. Students will apply various skills and techniques, combined with numerous investigative software tools to analyze seized electronic media.
Course objectives
This course exposes learners to:
- The knowledge of Internal technology of the forensic computer.
- Knowledge of multi-boot systems for their forensic computer.
- Techniques of password recovery tools (prtk) and distributed network attack software.
- The operation of different computer forensic tools.
- Technologies for creating sterile electronic media for imaging.
