Course Unit Description

This is an introductory course about management in organizations. It provides instruction in Principles of Management that have general applicability to all types of Enterprises; Basic Management Philosophy and decision making; principles involved in planning, organizing, leading, and controlling; and recent concepts in management.

Objectives of the Course    
The aim of the Course is:

  • To introduce the learners to managerial skills
  • To explore management theories to improve employee effectiveness and efficiency
  • To impart knowledge and skills of management functions
  • To instill the spirit of teamwork among employees in organizations

By the end of the course learners should be able to:
