DCP1208 Industrial Training

The course introduces the students to the aspect of working with the communities outside the campus to learn the farming practices, collect the data, interpret, and analyze the data collected for the purpose of report writing.

Course Objective

• To explain the importance of industrial attachment in agricultural training.
• Explain routine farming practices, agricultural processing and related activities
• To explain the techniques of handling the community.

Learning Outcome
At the end of the course, the students should be able to: 

• Appreciate the importance of industrial attachment and hands on practice in Agriculture
• Carry out routine practices in agricultural production, processing and related activities.
• Write a report on industrial attachment experiences
• Collect data in the field of attachment
• Analyze and interprete data collected
• Write a report on the industrial training attachment, experiences and lessons learnt.
