Course Objectives
- To explain the basic principles of agriculture and its role in national development
- To explain the basic concepts of climatology and meteorology.
- To describe key issues related to climate change
Learning Outcomes
At the end of this course the student should be able to:
- Explain the principles of agriculture and the role of agriculture in economic development
- Discuss the key concepts of climatology and meteorology
- Identify and use the different instruments at weather stations
- Collect data from weather stations, analyze it and predict weather
- Discuss the effects of climate change and its adaptation and mitigation options.
