The course introduces to the management of common infectious and non-infectious diseases in cattle, goats, sheep, pigs, poultry, and rabbits.
Course Objectives
- To equip the students with knowledge and skills to identify and manage sick livestock

At the end of the course, learners should be able to:
- identify and describe signs of disease in livestock
- investigate the cause of illness in livestock
- suggest and undertake remedies to prevent and minimize the effects of disease in livestock
- administer prescribed treatment and care to diseased livestock
