DPB1201 Organization and Administration of Physical Education and Sports

Aims

• To develop administrative and organizational competence to manage sport activities and events
• To develop awareness of risky situations that may lead to injury and accidents in Physical Education lessons.

Course Objectives
By the end of this unit, students should be able to:

• Identify elements of administration in Physical Education and Sports
• Specify organization of competition in Physical Education and Sports in primary schools
• Acquire safe practices during physical activities
• Demonstrate the spirit of fair play, teamwork and sportsmanship in administration of physical education and sport.
