The module introduces Language as a system of human communications; Language and Society; Language and Culture-Semantics; Language and gender; Listening and Speaking Skills-Listening as a skill; Stress (words/sentences), tone, intonation production of stress and intonational pattern; Practice in reading aloud for various purposes and audiences.
