DFB2201 Administration and Management of Lower, and Upper Primary Classes

This course introduces students to concepts of total classroom control and management. It focuses on the best practices of managing classrooms in a primary school.

Objectives
The course intends to:

• Enable learners to  identify characteristics of learners in a classroom
• Enables teachers to managers pupils according to their different characters such as slow learners, passive learners, active, fast learners etc.
• Be able institute appropriate disciplinary measure for proper class control.

• Upon completion of this course teachers will be able to exercise their authority appropriately within the confines of ethics, professionalism and all other laws and regulation governing their work.
