Course Unit Description
Communication theory and its application in various communication technologies and systems
Course Objectives
This course unit is meant:
- To give the students’ familiarity with the communication technologies i.e. the different communication components and circuitry in use today the strengths and weaknesses of the different components and circuitry used.
- To acquaint students with knowledge on the different data transmission techniques; i.e. how data is transferred from one point to another using the various technologies.
- To give students knowledge on the different communication systems designs so that they can use them in today’s organizations (schools etc) setting. (Make the right choice of design)
Expected Learning Outcome
- On successful completion of this course unit, the students should be able:
- The students get an inner understanding of the different communication technologies and systems.
