CGA1206 Anatomy and Physiologyn of Farm Animals

This course introduces students to aspects of farm animal body conformation, body parts as related to function and production. The essence of this is for the student to appreciate the other more sophisticated aspects of animal production. 

Course Objectives

• To equip the students with knowledge and skills in organ systems of farm animals and relate the anatomical structure of organs to their functions.

Learning Out Comes
At the end of this course, the student should be able to:

• Be conversant with the various farm animal anatomical structures and how they relate to the various physiological functions  
• Identify injection sites in animals
