Course Unit Description

The course is divided into four major topics namely; weather forecasting the impact of climate of natural and human systems, climate and society and climate variability.

Course Objectives
By the end of the course the students should be able to

  • Explain the different methods of weather forecasting and their significance 
  • Assess the impact of climate on human activities and on natural environment 
  • Explain the impact of climate on society and vice versa
  • Examine the causes, effects and significance of climate variability.
