BPM2205 Risk & Insurance in Supply Chain

This course introduces students to insurance concepts and their roles in a business setting. The course will entail among others topics; fraud, customer service, underwriting and claims, personal, commercial and property insurance.

Course Objectives  
This course is intended to:

• Help students know of the different supply chain risks
• Help students identify the different mechanisms to manage these risks
   

Learning Outcomes       

• By the end of the course students should be able to apply insurance skills gained to manage risks both at individual and business levels
