This course is designed to help a teacher trainee understand and apply the principles and concepts underlying learning of students in secondary schools. 

Course objectives
After the course, the student shall be able to:

  • Manage class room behaviour.
  • Discuss the components of cognitive learning 
  • Motivate Learners of different background to learn.
  • Apply various teaching and learning to techniques in classroom.
  • Describe ways of class control and discipline.

Expected outcomes

  • To have a teacher who knows the factors that promote learning and is able to help his/her students learn effectively.
