Course Unit Description
This course covers the epidemiology and pathology of common disorders of the nervous system, muscles, bone and behavior. It also handles the pharmacology of drugs used in treating these conditions. Techniques of investigating nuerological, musculo-skeletal and behavioral disorders are also covered.
Course objectives
By the end of the course students should be able to describe the;
- Etiology and pathology of common neurological and musculo-skeletal disorders
- Clinical pharmacology of drugs commonly used in neurologic, muscular and behavior disorders
- Common diagnostic procedures used in neurological, muscular and behavior disorders
