Course Unit Description

The course is designed to introduce small scale business management, exploring the small business options and nature of small businesses in the third world. It lays emphasis both theoretical and practical issues that make small scale business management a reality. 

Course Objectives
The course is intended to equip students with the ability to:

  • Appreciate and use general principles of small business management initiated by entrepreneurs; 
  • Internalize the sweeping global trends that influence the operation of small scale business entities in the global economy;
  • Build on the knowledge of contemporary entrepreneurial small scale business management

  • Describe similarities and differences between various forms of businesses, small and large;
