EDM2101 Management of entrepreneurship ventures

The course is designed to introduce elementary concepts of entrepreneurship skills and decision making, practices in business and career paths by surveying functional areas of an entrepreneurial project. The course provides an overview of functional importance of skills in an entrepreneurial world. It lays emphasis both theoretical and practical problem solving skills. 

Course Objectives
The course is intended to equip students with the ability to:

• To build on the learners conceptual knowledge of entrepreneurship skills and use general skills of entrepreneurs; 
• Internalize entrepreneurial skills and knowledge to competitively operate a small scale business;
• Assist learner to appreciate contemporary entrepreneurial issues of decision making
• Develop skills and competencies for effective entrepreneurial initiation, management and development.
