BMT1102 Introduction to Algebra and Matrices

This course introduces students to concepts of Matrices, Basic algebra, Quadratic equations, and also Systems of linear equations.

Course Objectives
By the end of the course, the student teacher should be able to:

• Use mathematics in everyday life problem-solving situations
• Extend his/her knowledge of real number system 
• Appreciate the aesthetic values of mathematics.
