This paper traces the origin of Geographical data, the ever changing nature of Geographical overtime. It looks in to contributions made by the Greeks, Romans, Arabs, Germans, French, British, Americans, Phoenicians, Babylonians and Sumerians etc in the evolution of Geographical ideas.
Objectives
By the end of the course, the learners should be able to:
- Explain the changing nature of Geography
- Discuss the contributions made by the different nationalities in the development of Geography
- Explain the theories that help to predict the future of Geography.
