Course Unit Description
The course introduces creativity and innovation as key strategic resources for the entrepreneurial organ fresh insight into, and new perspectives on, even the most routine elements of any activity. It stimulates and provides tools and techniques of creativity, innovation and new idea generation that are essential to the prosperity in today's highly volatile and competitive environment.
Learning Outcomes
After successfully completing this course, a student should be able to:
- Use Deliberate Creative Thinking techniques individually and in teams to focus on the generation and development of new ideas that drive innovation
- Facilitate and lead cross-functional groups in creative problem solving and applied innovation and entrepreneurship
- Identify and select from a range of deliberate thinking tools to explore a potential opportunity and plan how to design a creative, new initiative to exploit it.
