Course Unit Description
The Entrepreneurship course is a dynamic course designed to inspire and engage learners in the fundamental aspects of an entrepreneurial mindset and the unlimited opportunities it can provide. This course will empower learners through entrepreneurial thinking and immerse them in entrepreneurial experiences that will enable them to be creative and innovative to create jobs other than seeking jobs. Furthermore, the course will expose learners on the application of entrepreneurship skills. Thus, creating and managing viable enterprises, theories of Entrepreneurial Culture, Entrepreneurial Support Systems, disadvantaged people ad entrepreneurship; the State and Entrepreneurship etc.
Course objective
This course is intended:
- To equip learners with innovative and creative skills in the business environment.
- To assist learners, relate business activities with the limited resources
- To equip the learner, identify various opportunities; manage risks, to transform a simple idea into a sustainable success
- To prepare the learners for future learning
