DTB2201 Science Technology and Society

This course will cover technology education science and how it impacts on society.  Difference will be made of appropriate, indigenous and communication technology, benefits and limitations will be discussed.

Course Objectives
By the end of the course, students should be able to:

• Differentiate between appropriate technology and indigenous technology
• Integrate appropriate technology in teaching primary science
• Discuss problems associated with science and technology
