DCP2106 Special Project

This module introduces the student to the concepts of research and innovations in various fields and areas. It introduces the students to the concepts of formulation of research problems, proposal development, management of research, data collection and management, and communicating research findings through report writing and presentation.

Course Objectives

• To guide the students in the selection of the project topics.
• To expose the learners to the principles of project design and implementation
• To conduct the research and produce an acceptable scientific report.

Learning Outcomes
At the end of this course the students should be able to: 

• Identify researchable problem and topic 
• Undertake a research project to completion and collect reasonable data
• Analyze data, interpret results and write a scientific/technical report
• Communicate findings of research through presentations
