DCP1201 Perennial Crops Production

This course is designed to give theoretical knowledge and a hands-on experience in the production of perennial crops.

Course Objectives

• To describe the different production and management practices of perennial crops.
• To give knowledge and skills on the various value addition techniques of perennial crops

At the end of this course the students should be able to: 

• Plant, manage, harvest, process, and market beverage and plantation crops.
• Describe the production of various perennial crops 
• Apply recommended methods of production and management to increase the productivity of perennial crops 
• Improve the quality of various perennial crop products through value addition
