DCP1102 Annual Crops Production

This module seeks to introduce the students to the husbandry and management practices of annual crops.

Course Objective

• To describe the different production and management practices of annual crops.
• To give knowledge and skills on the various value addition techniques of annual crops .

Learning Outcomes
At the end of this course the student should be able to:

• Identify the various cultivated annual crops
• Describe the production of various annual crops from seedbed preparation to harvesting
• Apply recommended methods of production to increase the productivity of annual crops 
• Improve the quality of various annual crop products through value addition
• Produce annual crops for commercial purposes.
