Course Unit Description

This course is designed to provide learners with a clear understanding of transport and excretion as physiological processes, the mechanisms and organs involved in both plant and animal cells. Ecological, anatomical and behavioral aspects will be considered.  

Course Objectives     
By the end of the course students will be able to:

  • Describe how materials are transported in plants and animals 
  • Understand the mechanism of  excretion in both plants and animals

Expected Outcome

  • Adequately trained students a better understanding of the processes of transport and excretion in living organisms.
