Course Unit Description
This course is designed to provide learners with a comprehension of the composition, organisation and functioning of plant and animal cells. A comparative approach will be used to study both plant and animal cells.
Course Objectives
By the end of the course students will be able to:

- Describe the structure of the animal and plant cell
- Describe how the cell functions
