DAP2106 Fish Farming

This course is designed to equip the student with the necessary skills and knowledge in fish farming and breeding.  

Course Objectives

• To equip students with knowledge and skills in fish farming systems, breeding, hatchery management and processing.

• Identify the Origins of fish farming and Production systems 
• Apply the Water Quality control and management technologies.
• Examine the Health, Nutrition and Feeds needs of fish
• Design, construct and manage ponds and other culture units/ systems
