DAP1206 Veterinary Pharmacology and Therapeutics

This course introduces the student to veterinary drugs, knowledge of basic principles of drug action and the regulations of using veterinary drugs.

Course Objectives
To equip students with knowledge on rational usage of veterinary pharmaceuticals and therapeutic agents
To impart knowledge on drug regulation

• classify drugs 
• explain the modes of action of drugs
• interprete drug prescriptions and administer drugs
