This course introduces the student to veterinary drugs, knowledge of basic principles of drug action and the regulations of using veterinary drugs.
Course Objectives
To equip students with knowledge on rational usage of veterinary pharmaceuticals and therapeutic agents
To impart knowledge on drug regulation

At the end of the course, learners should be able to:

- classify drugs
- explain the modes of action of drugs
- interprete drug prescriptions and administer drugs
- explain the proper storage, transportation and handling of veterinary pharmaceuticals
