At the end of the course, learners should be able to:
- Identify types of data
- Determine and interpret measures of location, and measures of dispersion
- Create and examine data display methods
- Distinguish and determine a sample and a population
- Describe the basic concepts of probability
- Use at least one computer application to determine measures of location, measures of dispersion and create data displays
- Examine the relationship between quantitative variables using correlation
- Examine the relationship between categorical variables using chi square test
