Course Unit Description
This course provides students with practical skills and situations in which they are able to apply their knowledge to solve community problems. This course is focused on creating graduates that are relevant, able to solve the problems of the immediate community and improve the overall business community. This will result into graduates that are relevant, multi-skilled and talented to overcome the challenges of the Ugandan community. The focus of community engagement I is diagnostics and analysis of the prevailing situations and business problems.
Learning Outcomes
On completion of this course, the students should be able to
- Identify and understand the problems existing in the business community
- Evaluate business opportunities and understand the business environment resources or community skills than can be utilized in such opportunities to bring about growth.
- Identify and apply key business techniques to the respective business community.
- Ensure the growth of the business ventures to achieve economic prosperity.
