Course Unit Description

The course enables students to acquire knowledge and skills on electrical instrumentation and measurements. The course explores Measurement Specifications (Standards, units. Absolute and relative measurement. Instrument specifications range, resolution, accuracy, linearity, etc.), Analogue Instruments, Transducers, Analogue Data Processing, Data Acquisition and Conversion, and as well Computerized Measurement and Control Systems.

Learning Objectives

  • Understand the basic knowledge and skill in measurement and measuring instruments
  • Utilize and measure electrical quantities with electronic/electrical instruments
  • Familiarize students with the use and operation of electronic/electrical instruments for laboratory and industrial measurements
