BAG2101 Agronomy and Crop Protection

This course covers Agronomy, pests, diseases and weeds.

Course Objectives
At the end of the course, students will be able to:

• Identify pests and diseases in crops and the losses caused.
• Use appropriate methods of controlling weeds, pests and diseases.
• Demonstrate methods of weed, pests and diseases control including the safe use of agrochemicals.
• Identify cropping systems and the effect of climate on agriculture.
