AGR2201: Teaching and Learning Agriculture

This course covers the history of agricultural education in schools, planning and implementation of agriculture, instructional media and materials, field excursions, organizing and directing supervised farm occupational experience programs (soep) and field trips and projects.

Course Objectives
At the end of the course, students will be able to:

• identify the importance of agricultural education in schools and colleges
• plan and implement programmes in agriculture in schools and colleges.
