CGA2104 Poultry Production And Management

This course introduces the student to the management skills of poultry production.

Course objective
To enable a student, establish and manage a poultry farm

Learning out comes 
At the end of this course, the student should be able to:

• Identify different poultry breeds, select systems of poultry production and mange poultry enterprises
• Know the structure and composition of the eggs 
• Handle and package eggs, identify an egg that that is good for hatching and eating
• Know qualities of a good store for eggs, produce good quality eggs
