AGR2101: Annual and Perennial Crops

This course covers the basic elements of horticultural crops, perennial crops and annual crops.

Course Objectives
At the end of the course, students will be able to:

• Use agronomic practices in the growing of annual crops
• Selectively and successfully grow horticultural crops such as vegetables, fruits, flowers and ornamental plants.
• Use appropriate practices in the growing of perennial crops.
• Determine the factors that affect the distribution of annual and perennial crops in East Africa.
